SPECIAL VISIT WITH A QUILTER!

After a lot of emails Sarah Smith and I finally got to meet in person at her house in Camden, Maine. I also met her husband, Paul, and her two suns and her incredible Tibetan Mastiff, Yeti.

I got to see all of her quilts that were at home,-- including the Christmas tableau quilt that she showed on her blog (http://www.sarahannsmith.blogspot.com) and it is even more impressive in person.


And I have added another genuine Sarah Smith to my small collection -- her version of the Camden hills and the little islands in the bay. A truly special souvenir of a delightful visit!
